"As with any insurance product, you don't know how good it is until you have to claim. I haven't had to so far with i4me policies so policy value/customer support unproven. As a landlord of several properties, I find it irritating that i4me communications don't show the property address at the top level on the mail or covering letter so I know which address it relates to. Increasingly, like i4me, brokers only seem to deal with a very restricted number of underwriters, which encourages me to use internet comparison sites to check/improve on value."

"I was sent the renewal documents, followed up by a phone call. I declined to renew at that stage as I wanted to check whether the premium was competitive compared to other brokers. After doing this i was satisfied that the premium reflected value for money, although I felt that their management administrative fee at £39 waas excessive."
