A short time later I received a follow-up phone call, and after a short discussion, they said they would investigate the market further and email me if they could improve on their initial quote. Within the hour I received the email with an even better quote, (just over 50% of my renewal price), with a top brand company and with a policy that had far fewer clauses/restrictions than my existing policy.
