"We were badly let down by LV, our existing insurers, who decided, contrary to what had been discussed in detail previously, that they could not cover the property we are purchasing from exchange of contracts because the property would be unoccupied for up to three months while renovations were being carried out. Therefore as a matter of urgency at 5.30pm on the day of exchange I needed to arrange cover on an unoccupied property. These brokers were already known to me as Smith & Pinching, and as we like to support businesses local to our area, I called them.Within 20 minutes the issue had been dealt with very efficiently, and although the cover is not cheap, the insurance is in place as required. Excellent service which extricated us quickly from a difficult situation."

"Previous brokers had sent renewal papers with errors and a high premium only shortly before the renewal date. Rang i4me in Christmas week. They arranged equivalent cover, including consulting underwriters about a past problem, the same day at a lower premium. Very efficient."

"After several brokers we had rung for quotes failed to understand our admittedly slightly unusual requirements for our holiday home buildings and contents insurance, it was refreshing to speak to Lee who really sounded like he knew what he was about when discussing our requirements and after a quick check with the underwriters was able to confirm they could meet our needs. A quotation was given verbally and emailed in confirmation. After thoroughly reviewing this we called to accept the offer and spoke to Neil(?) who sounded equally helpful and competent. We pointed out a minor error in the quoted needs (a Y instead of N), which on correction actually reduced the premium slightly. We did receive other quotes which were a bit cheaper but didn't appear to fully cover our exacting needs so we felt more confident to go ahead with i4me. "
