"i4me have always been very efficient and helpful, and their policy has suited my needs. I was disappointed they have increased my premium as I am currently claiming for denial of access due to covid pandemic. Apparently this is because I will lose my no claims bonus. Firstly, they've had a year's premium from me when the property was empty, and secondly they have withdrawn (not surprisingly) future cover for contagion. Because I am claiming for covid doesn't reflect on my future risk- especially as I won't be covered ! It is, purely and simply, a cynical way to claw back what they are paying out. I had no choice but to renew my policy through i4me because nobody else will insure my property whilst I have a claim in progress. If I were to be cynical I might think they know that, and enjoy the lack of competition."
